CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS (DEADLINE EXTENDED: 15 JULY 2025)

The editorial committee invites the contribution of manuscripts for Volume 21 in 2025. Tirai Panggung is a peer-reviewed research journal that focuses on performing and visual arts. It provides a platform for scholars and practitioners to publish work in the fields of music, dance, drama, and visual arts. It is published once a year by the Faculty of Creative Arts, Universiti Malaya. We invite submissions of original articles in Malay and English.
Submission Requirements
1) Name of author, co-authors (if any), affiliation, and title of the article shall appear on the contents page. The full manuscript comprises of title of the article, abstract, keywords, body text, figures, tables, and references only.
2) All manuscripts shall be original and not under consideration for any publication elsewhere.
3) Manuscripts should be 5,000 to 6,000 words in length, inclusive of notes and references, written either in English or Malay language. Font: Times New Roman, font size 12, double spaced, 1" margin all round.
4) Manuscript should contain an abstract of approximately 100 words either in English or Malay with only 4 keywords.
5) Illustrations should include captions, and their sources duly cited and acknowledged. Image resolution must be at least 300dpi.
6) Manuscript shall conform to the latest American Psychological Association (APA) style of writing and formatting. Footnotes will not be accepted. Endnotes are acceptable.
7) Each manuscript will be double-blind reviewed and the decision will be conveyed to the authors as soon as possible.
