They relied on the descriptive, deductive, and critical approaches. This research consists of three sections: The first: the translation of Imam al-Mutawali, may God have mercy on him, the second: his general approach in his edits, and the third: the imam’s approach in the book al-Rawd al-Nadir. Then the research concluded with a number of results and recommendations, the most important of which are: Imam Al-Mutawali is a scholar who is proficient in his knowledge. The imam was following the methodology of Imam al-Mansouri in the Tahrirat and he wrote books on that. Then it became clear to him that he was following the methodology of Imam al-Izmiri and he wrote books on that. However, the concept of this term in this tafsir book was not clear according to the author’s view, nor his stance on the occurrence of this type of semantic pluralism in the Qur’an, despite the different views and positions of scholars on the subject. In addition to the lack of clarity in his approach to dealing with Al-Wujūh wa Al-Naẓāʼir. Therefore, this research aims to define Al-Wujūh wa Al-Naẓāʼir according to the view of Imām Abū Ḥafṣ Al-Nasafī, observe his position on the occurrence of Al-Wujūh wa Al-Naẓāʼir in the Qur’an, identify Al-Wujūh wa Al-Naẓāʼir that he stipulated, and reveal the features of his approach towards dealing with Al-Wujūh wa Al-Naẓāʼir, through his tafsir book Al-Taysīr fī Al-Tafsīr. The research employed an inductive approach in analyzing Al-Wujūh wa Al-Naẓāʼir from this tafsir book, so as to define Al-Wujūh wa Al-Naẓāʼir as viewed by Imām Abū Ḥafṣ Al-Nasafī, perceive his position on its occurrence in the Qur’an, and examine his approach in dealing with Al-Wujūh wa Al-Naẓāʼir. One of the most important findings of the research is that the concept of Al-Wujūh wa Al-Naẓāʼir according to Imām Abū Ḥafṣ Al-Nasafī is more general than Al-Mushtarak Al-Lafẓī and Al-Mutawāṭi’, contrary to what some predecessors stated. The research problem is rooted in the current global situation where believers often violate each other's rights, exacerbated by the widespread use of social media platforms that promote falsehoods and rumors, fostering mistrust and suspicion among Muslims. This has led to deepening divisions within the Muslim community under the guise of religion. The researcher employed an analytical inductive method to examine the verses of Surah Al-Hujurat and extract the rights of believers from them. The study yielded several significant findings and recommendations, among which are: Surah Al-Hujurat emphasizes the necessity of safeguarding mutual rights among Muslims, with the imperative form appearing in 27 instances to underscore the importance of integrating these ethical guidelines into the behavior and interactions of believers. Among the rights derived from the Surah is the need for verifying news, refraining from hastily accepting reports, promoting reconciliation among believers during conflicts based on justice and truth, avoiding negative assumptions, baseless accusations, spying, backbiting, and exposing each other's faults. When consulting the books of Tawjīh al-Qirā’āt, we see that these theories of at-Tawjīh encompass and are derived from all fields of knowledge, such as the Qur'ān, the Shadh (irregular or anomalous) readings, the Hadith, Arabic grammar and morphology, poetry, Qur'ānic ortography and others. However, authors differed on which fields of knowledge should be prioritized. Ibn Zanjalah, for example, cited extensively from Arabic grammar and poetry, but he understates the Hadith and the Shadh readings, which are two important pillars of at-Tawjīh. The mechanisms of at-Tawjīh according to Ibn Zanjalah are not well-defined in its features, and herein lies the research problem, which aims to establish that, the various sciences of Islamic knowledge are interconnected and cannot be regarded independently of each other. This research also aims to determine the extent of Ibn Zanjalah’s derivations from each science, while evaluating the mechanisms of at-Tawjīh according to Ibn Zanjalah by comparing the sciences contained in his book with one another. This research is based on the analytical method, which tracks Ibn Zanjalah’s theories of at-Tawjīh and examines them jointly as a whole; to be analyzed and classified and to identify the positive and negative aspects. Several results have emerged from this research, some of which are: The science of Tawjīh al-Qirā’āt is employs and utilizes all religious and Arabic sciences, therefore Tawjīh al-Qirā’āt can be derived from Arabic grammar, Arabic morphology, the Qur'ān, the Hadith and Arabic poetry, as well as the languages of the Arabs and their different dialects, and this is the approach followed by Ibn Zanjalah. It is evident that it is not possible to limit Tawjīh al-Qirā’āt to one particular science. Ibn Zanjalah clearly regarded many sciences as important in at-Tawjīh, notwithstanding his neglect of the Shadh readings and the Hadīth, of which he did not cite except a little. Based on comparisons it becomes clear that Ibn Zanjalah did not possess mastery of the Hadīth.
Mohamed Fathy Mohamed Abdelgelil, Muhammad Habib Abubakar, Tasnim Binti Abdul Rahman Copyright (c) 2024 https://vmis.um.edu.my/index.php/quranica/article/view/55531 Mon, 30 Sep 2024 00:00:00 +0800 Ījāz Al-Hadhaf Fī Al-Qurān Al-Karīm Dilālatah Wa Atharuhu ‘Alā Al-Siyāq https://vmis.um.edu.my/index.php/quranica/article/view/55542
The title of this thesis is (Briefing of the deletion in the Holy Qur’an, its meaning and effect). This research starting with defining the terms, then explaining the types of brevity in the Noble Qur’an, then the discussion, and finally the results, then the recommendations. The research outlines these disagreements, presenting the opinions of both imams and the stance of the majority of scholars on each issue. It then proceeds to determine the preponderant view between the majority of scholars and Abu Muslim. These disagreements are found in five specific places within the Surah. The research problem arises from the fact that some scholars of exegesis interpret the verses of God according to the philosophical perspectives they have adopted, as exemplified by Abu Muslim Al-Isfahani, who followed Mu'tazilite thought. This necessitates an examination of the validity and acceptance of his views, and the extent to which reconciliation is possible between the opinions of Abu Muslim Al-Isfahani and Imam Al-Razi. The researcher adopts an inductive, analytical, and deductive methodology, systematically tracing the disputed issues between Al-Razi and Abu Muslim Al-Isfahani. The study reaches several conclusions and recommendations, most notably that Fakhr Al-Din Al-Razi’s exegesis is one of the important works in praiseworthy opinion-based interpretation. It is a large and comprehensive tafsir, where Al-Razi elaborates extensively on issues and discussions, bringing a new method of organizing his work. In his tafsir, Mafatih Al-Ghayb, Al-Razi addressed jurisprudential and theological matters, occasionally discussing Quranic readings and grammatical issues, while also employing traditional exegesis, supporting his interpretations with evidence from the Quran, the Sunnah, and the statements of the Companions and Followers, although his tafsir is predominantly based on reasoned opinion. Imam Al-Razi differed from Abu Muslim Al-Isfahani in five issues in his interpretation of Surah Maryam, and the researcher favored Al-Razi's view in most of these cases. The study recommends increased focus on the themes of Quranic interpretation, with an emphasis on examining the differences among exegetes and assessing the strengths of their views to expand the circle of knowledge concerning the Book of God, thus providing a clearer understanding of all meanings and interpretations for readers of the Quran.
Ali Mohammed Abdul Rahman Al Balushi, Mahdi Kais AL Janabi Copyright (c) 2024 https://vmis.um.edu.my/index.php/quranica/article/view/55547 Mon, 30 Sep 2024 00:00:00 +0800 Al-I’jāz Al-‘Aqdī fī al-Qurān al-Karīm min Khilal Uslūbihi fī Taqrīr Tawhid Al-Rubūbiyyah https://vmis.um.edu.my/index.php/quranica/article/view/55592
This study aims to examine the miraculous aspects of the Quran in affirming the Oneness of Lordship (Tawhid al-Rububiyyah). Although, He made substantial changes to the system which possibly led to some confusion in the lexicon regarding mixing sections and repeating materials and words.
Sami Omar Ibrahim Al-Sabah Copyright (c) 2024 https://vmis.um.edu.my/index.php/quranica/article/view/55816 Mon, 30 Sep 2024 00:00:00 +0800 Mashākil Aṭfāl Al-Shawāri’ Dākhil Al-Mujtama’Al-Jazāirī fī Ḍau’ Al-Sunnah Al-Nabawiyyah: “Dirāsah Maydaniyyah ‘Alā Jam’iyyah Kāfil Al-Yatīm Al-Waṭaniyyah https://vmis.um.edu.my/index.php/quranica/article/view/55818
The present research titled "Challenges Encountered by Illegitimate and Orphan Children in Algerian Society in Light of the Prophet's Sunnah: A Study on the National Orphan Care Association" delves into the nuanced understanding of orphans and street children within the contexts outlined in the Qur'an and Sunnah. It scrutinizes their entitlements as established in the Prophet's teachings and the consequential impact on Algerian society. This study incorporates an examination of the National Orphan Care Association in Algeria. Employing an inductive method, it extrapolates prophetic hadiths addressing orphans, a comparative analytical approach to scrutinize the acquired information, and an applied approach, exemplified by a field study involving 193 individuals affiliated with the National Orphan Care Association in Algeria through questionnaire-based interactions. The findings underline the inherent value and inclusivity accorded to street children within the Islamic community by the Sunnah of the Prophet, securing their unalienable rights. However, as evidenced by the researcher's fieldwork, a significant portion of Algerian society needs a more comprehensive understanding of the Prophet's teachings regarding orphans. Consequently, their treatment of these individuals is often driven by compassion and mercy rather than an informed application of the Prophetic Sunnah. This lack of adherence to the Sunnah has notably adverse repercussions on Algerian society, manifesting in the mismanagement of orphan-related issues. The research elucidates the pivotal role played by the Prophetic Sunnah in safeguarding the rights of orphans and street children, alongside the endeavors of the Orphan Sponsor Association in providing support and assistance to this demographic, thereby striving to attain societal consensus and contentment.
Slimane Naimi, Abdollatif Ahmadi Ramchahi, Khadher Bin Ahmad Copyright (c) 2024 https://vmis.um.edu.my/index.php/quranica/article/view/55818 Mon, 30 Sep 2024 00:00:00 +0800 Manhaj Al-Syeikh Na’ina fī Tilāwah al-Qurān al-Karīm: Dirāsah Taḥliliyyah ‘Alā Muqaṭṭa’ Sūrah Al-Shu’arā’ https://vmis.um.edu.my/index.php/quranica/article/view/55888
This scientific study discusses the correct way to recite the Holy Qur’an based on knowledge of the approach of Sheikh Ahmad Naina, by analyzing his scented recitation of the section of Surat Al-Shu’ara in terms of vocal and tonal performance. The problem of this study appears in that there is a lot of research related to the science of Almaqamat, but no research has been established. A scientific study to establish an analysis of Sheikh Naina’s reading. This scientific research aims to study the special approach of Sheikh Ahmed Naina in good recitation, to prove the importance of knowing the AlMaqamat and how to read the Qur’an with them to contemplate the verses of the Holy Quran, and because it is one of the best scientific references related to the art of recitation and AlMaqamat or in this special field. The method of collecting information in this study is based on two methods: (1) intensive listening to Sheikh Ahmed Naina’s reading, noting how he pronounces the letters and using the sound and maqamat, (2) analyzing documents by reviewing scientific books and articles to provide scientific support for this study. The research discovered that Sheikh Naina's style is unique and distinct, as it is considered an extension of the school of Sheikh Mustafa Ismail. The research also revealed that Sheikh Naina’s approach is a correct approach in reciting the Qur’an in the Maqamat, and the researcher expects that this study will be useful to students and other researchers, especially those who work in this field.
Pranon Mustafa, Anuar bin Hasin Copyright (c) 2024 https://vmis.um.edu.my/index.php/quranica/article/view/55888 Mon, 30 Sep 2024 00:00:00 +0800 Taḥrīr Al-Qawl bain Al-siyāq wa al-Istidlāl ‘Inda ‘Ulamā’ Al-muslimīn wa al-Gharb wa atharuhu fī Al-Tafsīr wa al-Tarjamah Sūrah Nūḥ Anmūzajan https://vmis.um.edu.my/index.php/quranica/article/view/55983
Context and inference science is one of the most important studies that Muslim and Western scholars have paid attention to; because of its great importance in revealing many secrets and advantages related to Qur’anic texts and other types of texts. Studying the context may help make Qur’anic verses bear flexibility and vitality. However, there is a difference in the studying approaches of this science. According to Western scholars this science relates to the meaning and resulting understanding, whereas Muslim scholars considered the context or intentions of the speaker the utmost value, as well as analyzing and dismantling it to reach the desired meaning. This is illustrated through the Qur’anic context in Prophet Noah’s story. Through inference in scholars understanding of the Qur’anic text, that it is a preaching experience, eternal battles between disbelief and monotheism, and revealing Allah’s care and mercy for man. I chose Surat Noah for the applied aspect of this study to highlight the importance this science, and to clarify the meanings of the Qur’anic mentions. In terms of contextual entity, rhetorical basis, grammatical structure, and linguistic structure, this study came to clarify the role of context and inference in making the text coherent and examining the semantic contents of Surat Noah.
Hind Muhammad Sardar Copyright (c) 2024 https://vmis.um.edu.my/index.php/quranica/article/view/55983 Mon, 30 Sep 2024 00:00:00 +0800
