KERUNTUHAN AKHLAK MENERUSI NOVEL PEREMPUAN POLITIKUS MELAYU BERDASARKAN PERSPEKTIF AL-GHAZALI COLLAPSE IN THE NOVEL PEREMPUAN POLITIKUS MELAYU FROM PERSPECTIVE OF AL-GHAZALI

Abstract

ABSTRAK

Faisal Tehrani merupakan seorang penulis sastera kontemporari yang kerap kali menghasilkan karya-karya berkaitan krisis masyarakat dalam pelbagai aspek, iaitu dari sudut ekonomi, politik dan, sosial. Novel Perempuan Politikus Melayu yang dihasilkan pada tahun 2016  merupakan salah satu novel beliau yang mengetengahkan pelbagai bentuk keruntuhan  akhlak  dalam  sebuah  kelompok masyarakat seperti konflik dalam hubungan pemerintah dengan rakyat, pasangan kekasih dan juga hubungan kekeluargaan.  Isu  keruntuhan  akhlak  tersebut  digarap melalui pelbagai tindakan yang menyalahi ajaran agama Islam dan nilai norma masyarakat Melayu yang dipaparkan menerusi watak-watak tertentu. Kajian  ini dilaksanakan bagi memahami jenis-jenis perlakuan keruntuhan akhlak yang telah didasari oleh nafsu marah, benci dan dendam. Kajian ini juga telah menggariskan tiga objektif utama,  iaitu mengenalpasti  isu  keruntuhan akhlak  menerusi  novel kajian,  menganalisis serta menilai kesan keruntuhan akhlak dalam novel tersebut dengan menggunakan Pendekatan Ihya’ Ulumuddin yang dipelopori oleh Al-Ghazali (2013). Metodologi kajian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif, iaitu analisis wacana. Hasil kajian mendapati bahawa isu keruntuhan akhlak yang ditunjukkan dalam novel Perempuan Politikus Melayu benar-benar tidak selari dengan ajaran Islam dan harus dijauhi agar manusia dapat menjamin kesejahteraan sejagat. Kesimpulannya, kajian ini bermatlamat untuk memberi nilai pendidikan kepada semua pihak untuk lebih memahami dan mengenali bentuk-bentuk keruntuhan akhlak yang kerap kali berlaku dalam masyarakat berdasarkan novel kajian hingga berupaya membentuk normalisasi yang negatif dalam kehidupan mereka. Di samping itu, kajian ini diharapkan berupaya menjadi salah satu strategi utama yang boleh digunakan oleh masyarakat untuk lebih memahami dan menghindari tingkah laku negatif berdasarkan penilaian agama dan norma hidup masyarakat Melayu.

ABSTRACT

Faisal Tehrani is a contemporary literary writer who is keen to produce works related to the crisis of society in various aspects, namely from an economic, political and, social perspective. The Perempuan Politikus Melayu novel produced in 2016 is one of his novels that describes various forms of moral collapse in a group of society such as conflicts in government relations with the people, lovers and family relations.  The problem of moral collapse is raised through various acts that violate the teachings of Islam and the values of the norms of the Malay community displayed through certain characters. This study was conducted in order to understand the kinds of morally disastrous treatments that have been based on anger, hatred and vengeance. The study has also outlined three main objectives, namely, identifying the issue of moral collapse through the study novel, analyzing and evaluating the impact of moral colapse in the novel using the Ihya’ Ulumuddin Approach pioneered by Al-Ghazali (2013). The methodology used is a qualitative approach, i.e. discourse analysis. The results of the study revealed that the issue of moral collapse that is presented in the novel of the Perempuan Politikus Melayu is completely inconsistent with the teachings of Islam and must be avoided in order for mankind to guarantee universal well-being.In conclusion, this study aims to provide educational value to all parties to better understand and recognize the forms of moral decay that often occur in society based on the novel study to be able to form a negative normalization in their lives. In addition, this study is expected to be one of the main strategies that can be used by the community to better understand and avoid negative behavior based on the assessment of religion and the life norms of the Malay community.
